I was looking at Will Book 4 of the Frederick Cou. Library and found a John Humphreys married to Sarah Humphreys (daughter of Benjamin Berry Humphreys). Could this be one of your ancestors? Daughter of the latter Benjamin born in 1700's?

I'm descended from Mary Newton Twyford's sister Pamelia Newton Twiford Hughes. Their father was Clement Twiford b abt 1784 in DE and their mother was Milcah Hicks b 1790 in MD. Haven't got beyond Clement but will keep you apprised.

hello fellow alkires. ive been in modesto for the past 20 years. born in oakland,ca. 1961. ihave 1brother and 1 sister.they reside in washington state. we all have families high school college and adult age children.my oldest daughter attends manhatten university in new york.freshman year,she hopes to be a doctor in the future.my 2nd oldest has been accepted to fordham univ. in new york as well. my youngest still attends high school here in modesto and is on the cheerleading squad. beleive it or not the beyer high varsity football coach's name is richard alkire. that was my fathers name. there are afew more alkires in this town if you can beleive that. my father and mother have been passed a way for some time now but i am happy to say his brothers are still alive and they have large families and a lot of them reside in san jose ca. so i just wanted to let you know the alkires are alive and well in the west. also wanted to say merry christmas happy new year and god bless all of you.please forgive my typing i'm never on the internet so long from the paul alkire family of modesto,ca.
